The Climate Media Centre is seeking applications from spokespeople and case studies for its signature, in-person Media 101 training.
Participants will develop a deeper understanding of current Australian attitudes to climate change and the energy transition, learn how to communicate on climate change and energy, and find out what journalists think makes a great story. They receive a structure for planning interviews with key messages, tips and tricks to nail media interviews, and one-on-one interview practice with personalised feedback.
Participants also receive notes and handouts to take home.
Details for our next training session are:
Date: Friday 30 October
Time: 9am - 4pm
Location: TBC (Toowoomba)
Cost: Free (includes morning tea and lunch)
Places are limited. Please register your interest and some details about yourself and your work, and we will be in touch.
If you are offered a place in this session, you will need to commit to attend for a full day. Late withdrawal may incur a small charge to cover some of our costs.
